Comprehensive Ranking System

 

Canada follows a point-based immigration system. Therefore, it is essential to clear the latest Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score cut-off to receive an ITA - invitation to Apply - to apply for a Canada PR visa via the Express Entry program.

 

CRS score is awarded after evaluating various factors such as age, language proficiency, educational credentials, work experience, etc. Points earned during the entire express entry program is used to determine the rank of the applicant's profile.

 

Therefore, you must acquire 67 out of 100 points in the mentioned categories such as age, adaptability, educational qualifications, etc. to be eligible for Canada PR. If you earn the minimum of 67 points not less than that, you are eligible for the first step i.e. to create your profile in the express entry pool.

 

Express Entry and CRS Score

 

The Express Entry program operates based on the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score to choose the relevant express profiles of the applicants. You must score at least 67 CRS Scores in 2021, out of 100, to apply for the Express Entry System. Age- 12 Points

 

The applicant must have reached the age of 18 to qualify for Canada Immigration Programs. The Canadian authorities award 12 points to individuals between 18 and 35 years of age. Those who fall under 18-35 category are awarded the maximum 12 points. As they grow older, the points decrease.

Educational Credentials- 25 Points

Work Experience- 15 Points

 

Candidates with the relevant experience in the required field in the labour of Canada are awarded the highest point of 15. It is therefore advisable to go through the full description of the NOC (National Occupational Classification) list which comprises the eligible categories O, A and B.

Language Ability- 24 Points

 

Canada mainly has two official languages, namely French and English. The government is therefore looking for candidates who are well-read in any of them. #Adaptability- 10 Points

 

If the applicant's spouse or common-law partner is willing to move to Canada, he or she is entitled to 10 additional adaptability points.

#Arranged Employment- 10 Points

 

If you have a legitimate work offer from a Canadian employer, you will be able to score a maximum of 10 points. Also, the profession of the applicant must be identified as Skill Type 0, A or B in the National Occupational Classification (NOC).
