The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program is a fast-track immigration program that allows
employers in Canada’s four Atlantic Provinces to hire skilled foreign nationals to fill in the jobs
lying vacant due to non-availability of skilled workforce.
The four Atlantic Provinces are:
Newfoundland and Labrador; and
Prince Edward Island.

agreement to bring more talent in their region and offer them permanent residence through
Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program. AIPP is aligned to invite more than 7,000 new migrants to
the Atlantic Canada region by 2021. This program enables local employers to identify global
talent and give them a chance to contribute to the Canadian economy. AIPP is put forward with
the aim of supporting population growth, maintaining a skilled workforce
and boost employment opportunities in the Atlantic region.
These territories are concentrated to invite skilled workforce under three subcategories:
Atlantic High-Skilled Program (AHSP)
Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program (AISP)

Who can apply in this program?
Candidates with these credentials can apply under these programs.
Atlantic High-skilled Program:
Experience of 1 year in a professional job.
At least have an equivalent Canadian High school degree.
Proficiency in English or French language..
Proof of funds.
Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program:
Have experience of at least one year in a professional job.
Have a degree equivalent to a Canadian high school diploma.
Proficiency in English or French language.
Proof of funds.
Steps Involving in AIPP
It is an employer-driven program to recruit talented foreign workers. Candidates are required to have:
A job offer.
A settlement plan for themselves and their spouses.
They meet all the employment requirements of the program.
Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is not needed for employers.
immigrant and his family will get the long-term integration support of the employer.
Candidates will have access to a temporary work permit so that they can move to Canada as soon as possible.

A provincial letter.
A PR determination in your mind.
The employers must apply to the province(s) to receive the designation. Employers with multiple locations in four different provinces will require a separate designation for each province. Employers who have hired foreign skilled Labour will have to keep supporting him and his family to start their new life in Atlantic Canada.
