Visa Information


If you are planning a trip to Malta, ensure to follow all visa requirements as Malta is located in the Schengen zone of Europe. The Schengen zone in continental Europe holds a privilege where you are free to move between 26 countries of the zone.




The passport must meet basic parameters and also should have a minimum of two blank pages for the visa stamp with a validity of 6 months ahead of the span of stay. Also, one cannot cross international boundaries (Schengen zone) without a passport.

Weather in Malta


Malta experiences a Mediterranean climate with very mild winters and hot summers. It lies within the subtropical zone with a lot of sunshine over 300 sunny days per year. You can visit Malta from June to August where the weather is pleasant (25-27 degrees Celsius) and super busy. The rainy season runs from September to November, you can also go in the winter but it is usually closed down during that season.

The criteria includes the condition that you have to pass a ''Fit and Proper'' test, contributing €650,000 into a National Development & Social Fund where you expend property of at least €350,000 or invest €150,000 in bonds or shares approved by the Maltese government.
